Larchfield Estate Wedding // Lucy + Tom
Lucy is from Ireland and Tom is from England, they live in Scotland and together they had a gorgeous Irish wedding celebrated with family and friends at the epic Larchfield Estate in Lisburn. It’s my first time at this venue but I absolutely love everything about it! The rustic old barns, cobbled courtyard, beautiful gardens, Lamas and a reception room filled with twinkle lights!
The day started with prep at Larchfield Estate and I hopped between the two cottages. In Lucy’s cottage there was lots of activity with hair, makeup and chat while over in Tom’s cottage the World Cup rugby was on TV Ireland v England! Unfortunately for the Irish guests England won the match! Lucy looked so stunning in her blush lace detailed dress and I loved her bridesmaids navy dresses from Coast. Tom and his groomsman wore grey suits and together all the colours were perfect for the autumn vibes.
Music is a big part of Lucy’s family and their service was made extra special with her exceptional music from her talented sisters and friend, Emily Laurence. During the drinks reception another friend, Owen Denvir, played the guitar and then after the meal guests pulled together a music flash mob as a surprise for the couple. The atmosphere in the room off the charts!
To finish off a day guests were treated to traditional Irish and Scottish dance and music from Haste to the Wedding Ceilidh Band. Even though there some strange interpretations of the traditional sets the guests were certainly having great craic learning lots of new moves and the dance floor never emptied!
